Position Profile — Sales Executive

ROLE TITLE:  Sales Executive

BUSINESS UNIT:  CHIP | Lifestyle Medicine Institute

REPORTS TO:  Executive Vice President, Enterprise Solutions & Development

Main Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to identify sales prospects and leads, acquire, and close customer contracts, and build and maintain trustworthy relationships with key clients to ensure optimal client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

(The primary tasks, functions, and deliverables of the role)

  • Acquire and close customer contracts
  • Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and convert leads into customers for LMI
  • Write business proposals and negotiate deals
  • Finalized licensing agreements with customers
  • Maintain a documented record of all sales-related activities via Hubspot
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted clients
  • Represent LMI with high professionalism and integrity
  • Manage a primary sales territory of western United States

Skills and Competencies

Qualification/Education

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. accredited university
  • At least 5 years of experience selling into healthcare or employer markets.
  • Preferred: Experience working with employer benefit brokers

Knowledge/Experience

  • Ability to leverage historical contacts and relationships with target clients
  • General knowledge of healthcare and employment industry and regulations
  • General knowledge of IT security regulations for healthcare
  • Proven skills and ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Experience with design and implementation of win-win business agreements
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales and multiple stakeholder agenda
